The idea

Celebrate the Winter Solstice with yoga, cacao, a sober rave and a sound bath — completely alcohol and drug free.

An evening to mark the Winter Solstice in the best way we know: move, dance, be still, and go home lighter than you arrived.

It opens with raw cacao and a yoga flow led over a live DJ set, builds into a proper dance to Balearic beats and 80s and 90s house classics under lights and lasers, then lands with a sound bath of crystal singing bowls and symphonic gong. Vegan treats before you leave.

Everything is alcohol and drug free. Plenty of people come on their own, and it is a warm, unpretentious room — one of those nights where nobody is performing.

Yoga flow with a live DJ

An unhurried flow set to music played live in the room. All levels.

Sober rave

DJ Andy Cleeton on Balearic beats and house classics, with lights and lasers.

Sound bath

Crystal singing bowls and symphonic gong to close the evening.

Cacao & vegan treats

Raw cacao on arrival, and something sweet before you head home.

Questions

Before you book

Do I need to have done yoga before?

No. The flow is all-levels and everything is offered with options — and you can just sit it out and enjoy the music.

Can I come on my own?

Yes, and lots do. It is a friendly, unpretentious room and nobody stays a stranger for long.

Is it really alcohol free?

Completely. It is the thing people are most sceptical about and most surprised by.

What should I bring?

A mat, water, comfortable clothes, and a blanket and pillow for the sound bath.

Is there parking?

Yes, on site at the village hall.
